The other night I was browsing through Private Boy Movie, one of several places I hang out to get my Asian Boy fix…now that I’m back in the States. I don’t know how I missed it before, but I’ve been with one of the boys on his site!

Danny was the bottom in a 3-way I put together one night. The Thai boys refer to it as a sandwich, and Danny was the meat.

As a general rule, Thai boys do not understand Top, Bottom, Straight, or Bisexual. And a sizable number of boys don’t know what Gay is, but Mamasans generally will. There are exceptions, and most of those will be with Boys in the Silom area of Bangkok and other farang frequented areas of Thailand. It has been my experience that even the boys with good English skills typically do not say top or bottom, and most will not say straight, but all know and understand gay.

Translations…

Top = King
Bottom = Queen
Straight = Man
Bisexual = Man as a general rule, because most Bi boys think of themselves as being a man.

So you would ask Mamasan, or the boy, if he is a king or queen. Depending on whom you are talking to gay king, or gay queen also works.

I mention straight, because there are a lot of straight boys working in the sex trade. In fact, if you go to the host bars up in Saphan Kwai about 99 percent of the boys are straight. Most are tops, but some will bottom. I’ve actually had a couple of straight boys that preferred to bottom - both had girlfriends. Regardless of what the straight boys are willing to do, they generally consider themselves to be a man.

Don’t be afraid of the straight boys. Some of the best sex I had was with straight boys. The only difference is they might not acknowledge you in public, and probably would not make for a good relationship. I was at Big C one day and saw one of the straight boys I had been with. He went out of his way to avoid me. A little later I saw why. His girlfriend was with him.

I’ve just completed a much needed update on my Cellular Phone page, and Thai Boys Underwear has an update at the end.

An American friend of mine told me if you really want to score points with a Thai boy, tell him he has a beautiful nose. He did not have an explanation for why this works, but assured me it does every time.

I asked another American friend what he knew about this. He said he’d never heard it put that way, but understood completely why it would work. Apparently a very large percentage of Gay Thai boys, and a substantial number of straights, will scrimp and save everything to get a nose job. It seems all the boys feel it’s very important to have a good looking nose. It’s another one of those social/materialistic/status things so prominent in Thai culture.

From what I understand, a nose job, in Thailand, costs about 20,000 baht - roughly $700 US. To put this into perspective, that’s about have the cost of a new motor bike.

I tested this on a few boys and found it does work. Every single one was delighted to hear I thought his nose looked beautiful. This glow comes over them like you have just given the ultimate compliment.
