Thais wearing yellow shirts on Monday

This Photo was taken at one of the Sky Train stations on a Monday. Notice all the yellow shirts. Yellow is actually more significant as everyone wears it to honor and celebrate the 60th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s accession to the throne. Thus, it is more noticeable than the other colors of the week. Yellow is also displayed, to honor the King, in many other ways. For example, you will see lots of yellow wristbands being worn throughout the week.  Yellow is also displayed, to honor the King, in many other ways.  For example, you will see lots of yellow wristbands being worn throughout the week. I’ve also learned yellow is the King’s color, because he was born on a Monday.
