Thais believe if they dress with the color synchronized with the day it will bring them good luck. Below are colors appropriate for each day:

This Photo was taken at one of the Sky Train stations on a Monday. Notice all the yellow shirts. Yellow is actually more significant as everyone wears it to honor and celebrate the 60th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s accession to the throne. Thus, it is more noticeable than the other colors of the week. Yellow is also displayed, to honor the King, in many other ways.
